This Celtic (La Tene) fibula, is quite respresentative of this latter period. Constructed of a large pin rolled up in wire from which the central pin emanates. The cover plate is an elongated wide bronze sheet worked with two grooves and terminating with a small volute. The fibula is well preserved and the surface yields a beautiful dark green patina. This fibula is one of the most beautiful of its type.
